The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) website circulated information that LG is planning a large-scale development of a new device.
The patent describes the design decision of the future smartphone.
The device is created in the form of a cylinder, and its walls push two curling screens. These displays can be pulled a few centimeters forward to realize certain functions. When folded, these panels are removed in the middle of the housing in the form of a tube completely.
For example, 1 of 2 screens can be used to display pictures, and a second screen is needed to control, for example, a virtual keyboard. As a result, such a smartphone will be able to perform the role of e-book, where displays correspond to pages.
Nothing is known about LG's plans to release such a proposal.
